Kaitlin Roig-DeBellis talks about hope and survival to Bristol Warren educators and community
March 8, 2014

On Friday, March 7th, Bodacious Bee Honorary Co-Chair, Sandyhook teacher, and Classes4Classes founder Kaitlin Roig-DeBellis addressed an audience of educators and other community members in Bristol.

She described her path to being a teacher, the unimaginable horror of the events of 12/14/12 in Newtown, CT, and her story of survival and hope. After her return to her classroom in January 2013, the outpouring of gifts and tokens of generosity from strangers, prompted her to start talking to her students about the importance of giving back. This grew into the whole concept of a social curriculum, and her foundation Classes4Classes.

Thank you Kaitlin for continuing to inspire educators, parents, and survivors alike, and thank you for taking the time to share your message of hope with us.
