2019 Annual Drive for Educational Excellence
An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

Dear Friends,
The Bristol Warren Education Foundation (BWEF) supports our teachers as they amaze us with their passion and creativity. As budgets become tighter, and the need for support increases, we are committed to working harder than ever to fund innovation in our schools. When we work as a community, the potential is boundless!
In support of our mission - to promote student excellence in our public schools - our organization provides grants to teachers in the Bristol Warren Regional School District. In this academic year, the BWEF is funding $72,000 across 30 teacher-led initiatives in all 6 district schools, including:
- Artist-in-Residence programs
- Science and nature programs, like Science Olympiad and Nature's Classroom
- Hands-on exposure to the arts through theatre, music and art appreciation
- Programming promoting civic action and engagement
Our board of volunteers is committed to building on this success during this, our 13th year.
Join us as we work together to facilitate new learning opportunities in our schools through BWEF's Annual Drive for Educational Excellence. Please consider a tax-deductible donation that will help bring more of these innovative opportunities to all Bristol Warren public school students. And mark your calendars now for these fun fundraising events…donate, volunteer, attend!
- Thank a Teacher' teacher recognition program during the holiday and end of school seasons
- Bee Amazed, the 12th Annual Bodacious Bee – March 7th, 2020
The Bristol Warren Education Foundation is a community-led organization dedicated to promoting student excellence in our public schools. Since 2007, as a direct result of your generosity, BWEF has awarded more than $560,000 in enrichment grants to teachers and staff in every district school.
With sincere gratitude,
Nicky Piper

By broadening the fundraising efforts of our all-volunteer community organization,
we hope to be able to provide grant-supported educational activities to as many classrooms as possible.
During the 2019-20 school year BWEF is funding a record $72,000 in grants — since 2007 BWEF has funded more than $550,000 in grants. With your support, we can bring more music, more science, and more writing into our classrooms.
